FLYING THIRTY

Designed in 1951 the FLYING THIRTY, Huff of Arklow, was a planing cruiser/racer. She raced and cruised in the Irish Sea area for many years.

In the early 1980s she was restored by Chris Allen who operated her on charter and she was frequently seen in the Solent. Chris unfortunately died a few years ago and in 2000 she was sold by Chris's widow to Andrew Thornhill.
